Text Role Playing Game?

Just a suggestion here so that we could have fun doing something.

I'm sure you've all heard of role-playing and games.
Put them together and you have a Role-Playing Game!
Well, we're going to play this RPG by text, hence the name, 'Text Role Playing Game' or TRPG for short.
Remember EXP, or EXperience Points? How are we going to get them?
Easy! We get them, by posts!
One example of an exp system would be :
Level 1 - 5 Posts
Level 2 - 10 Posts
Level 3 - 15 Posts
Level 4 - 20 Posts
Level 5 - 25 Posts

Roleplaying, I've never done a role playing game. Well I mean I have played RPG video games, but never on a forum. I am curius about this, please explain it to me.

Well, to put it simply, its like a forum role-play.
But we would try to make it like a game.
With levels, items and maps, who knows what we could do?

EDIT: Well, sorry if I didn't make it clear. I suck at explaining. I've only got the idea in my head.

Sounds pretty cool, I will consider it. But we need to come up with a more elaborate idea, so once we get a picture in our mind, we might be able to start.
P.S. I think I'm going to put E-Collectables in the profiles.

Also, I'm just suggesting this... in a suggestion but,
since this is a Pokemon forum, we should do a Pokemon TRPG, but not as trainers.
It would be troublesome to make an exp system for the Pokemon that the trainer has.
We should be Pokemon, and the maps are from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 1 & 2, only without the Mystery Dungeon part.

It sounds interesting. I love role playing. I say yes to this fully!

We're very limited with Forumotion without huge HTML knowledge. When we get good HTML knowledge, then we'll upgrade it, but for now, we can just use the built-in RPG and make it Pokemon themed.

With the Forumotion RPG, you have battling, so EXP can just be gained by that.

Yeah, but for a text rpg, you won't even need html.
All you need is a forum.
